Salute gente, un poco de buena música para apasigüar las almas atormentadas ante el posible nuevo encierro… Puede que ayude un poco, ahí va: en el comienzo la cantante danesa Lilly desde The Song is You (Double Moon Records | Marzo 26, 2021) con muy buena compañía, los celebradísimos Gilad Hekselman en guitarras y el cornetista Kirk Knuffke. Otro muy celebrado músico, el pianista Ethan Iverson dirigiendo a la Umbria Jazz Orchestra desde Bud Powell In The 21st Century (Sunnyside | Enero 29, 2021) un reconocimiento y homenaje al pianista pionero del bebop, con interpretaciones de varias piezas de Powell para big band.

Un bloquecito muy tranqui con guitarristas, el primero Scott DuBois con Summer Water (Watertone Music Records | Abril 2, 2021), un álbum donde se materializa su obsesión por la composición inspirada en las estaciones del año, este solo guitarra refleja su aspecto más lírico e intimista. El guitarrista clásico Ferenc Snétberger, el más destacado guitarrista acústico de Hungría y su cuarteto de cuerda más importante, el Keller Quartett, con Hallgató (ECM | Feb 12, 2021) grabado en directo en la Gran Sala de la Academia Liszt de Budapest.

Cómo dejé pasar por alto este disco?!!, resulta que una mirada así de rapidita me confundió y medio que lo descarté, se trata de Road to the Sun (Modern Recordings | Marzo 5, 2021) con música escrita por Pat Metheny para el guitarrista clásico Jason Vieaux y el Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, interpretando las composiciones originales de Pat por separado, el debut de Pat en el ámbito de música de Cámara.

Un poco de piano remelosón con Don Grusin desde Out of Thin Air (Don Grusin | Feb 19, 2021), un álbum en sólo piano y otro más: Joachim Kühn con Touch the Light (ACT | Feb 26, 2021) otro solo piano muy entrador.

Los dos últimos levantando un poco: el baterista leyenda Joe Chambers con Samba De Maracatu (Blue Note | Feb 24, 2021) donde también luce sus capacidades como vibrafonista; cerramos con Steve Gadd Band desde At Blue Note Tokyo (BFM | Enero 12, 2021) grabación en vivo de su presentación en 2018, celebrando el cumple 75 del baterista mañana 9 de abril.
